Israeli companies in Guangzhou: During Q1 2017 no less than 6 leading Israeli companies were hosted by GIBF in Guangzhou (some of them more than once) – Invasix (aesthetic), G Medical (digital health), CMosaiX (imaging), CarboFix (orthopedics), STI (cardiology and minimal invasive surgery), and Visionix (ophthalmology). All companies have either established already a joint venture with GIBF in Guangzhou or planning to do so during 2017.
Former Israeli Minister of Economy: In January 13, 2017, a former Israeli Minister of Economy, Mr. Ran Cohen, led an Israeli delegation to China as a preparation for the Israeli Prime Minister's visit. Mr. Cohen visited GIBF's facility in the Bio Island and was extremely impressed by our joint project. After returning to Israel, Mr. Cohen stated very clear that GIBF is perhaps the most advanced cooperation project under the joint Sino-Israeli Task Force.
Guangdong FAO: During February 2017, a delegation from the Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office visited Israel as a guest of the Joint Sino-Israel Task Force. On February 14, 2017, GLK hosted this delegation. Mr. Avner Lushi presented GLK and GIBF and accompanied the delegation to a visit in the Sheba Medical Center (the largest medical center in Israeli) arranged by GLK.
GPC: On March 2-3, 2017, a delegation from Guangzhou Pharmaceuticals, headed by Dr. Liu Juyan, the deputy CEO of GPC, was hosted in Israel by Teva and GLK. The delegation members were highly impressed by the advanced pharmaceutical industry in Israel.
Ali Health: On March 22, 2017, Ali Health, part of the Ali Baba Group, visited GIBF in Guangzhou and attended a live demonstration of leading Israeli digital health technologies.
